OUT OF THE DEPTHS: A Poetic Journey

Are you sinking in despair and cannot get out? Do you feel like there is just no hope and you are all alone? I understand how you feel. I have been there and know it can be the loneliest place around. But you do not have to stay there. You can be pulled out of that dark low place and see the light.

An Unspeakable Secret
The great struggle began. The greatest feeling that overwhelmed me was one
of hopelessness. But with the help of God, and the encouragement of my loving
husband, a number of therapists, and caring friends I began my journey to
wholeness. Can wholeness be found? Yes, it can.

Mommy Twinkle Eyes
Discovering I was abused was a shock, but being diagnosed with multiple
personality disorder was not. Little Glenda, who was the last alter to make
herself known, she looked into peoples' eyes to see what kind of person they
were. She wrote these letters for our therapist, letting her know she hid in the
background the whole time. She chose to endear our therapist with the name Mommy
Twinkle Eyes.

Who Me? Worthwhile? Yes, You!
We think we are who others say we are, when in fact their view of us might
be very wrong. Our vision is sometimes colored by what hides deep inside. This
workbook is designed to help us take a deep look into what makes us the people
we are. Emotions play a part in our make-up; therefore, in discussing those, we
can better evaluate the true nature of our total being.
Looking at Scripture helps us to reevaluate who we are in God. It gives us
the hope and help needed to better our lives. The Bible also has
many quotes and stories that are relevant today. It applies to every emotion we
have and lets us know God gave us these feelings. God is there in all that we go
through. He can, will, and does help us live through events thought to be too
tough to handle. He changes us in ways we only thought we could dream would
happen. He gives us value beyond measure. He is the one who ultimately measures
our worth.
